There are many different types of antique candlesticks found in the LINDA HORN inventory and in many different materials including brass, silver, bronze and giltwood. The collection features a large selection of 19th Century English brass candlesticks. Some of these are referred to as English bell weight brass candlesticks to indicate that they are made with the heavier bell metal brass that is an alloy of four parts copper to one part tin, which was used mainly for bells but could sometimes be found in decorative objects. But the collection of 19th Century antique candlesticks also extends to French bronze candlesticks, silver over bronze altar candlesticks, large English turned wood candlesticks, carved giltwood candlesticks, and English brass barley twist candlesticks.
